The next Writers on the River meeting featuring Peter Sears will be Monday, October 19 at 6:30 pm at First Presbyterian in Corvallis. We'll be talking chapbooks, readings, and critique groups.
The Externalist has a new blog feature on Nontraditional Families going this month. New posts every few days through the end of October. There's still time to submit as well by sending an email to editor@theexternalist.com with "Blog Feature: Nontraditional Families" in the subject line. Contributors can submit up to 500 words of nonfiction on the subject as well as a brief biography. Readers can submit a poem on the topic.
I've received a poem acceptance from Autumn Sky Poetry.
I've also had a photograph accepted for publication in Thresholds, a literary journal published in Eugene, Oregon.
I've been talking chapbook with a small press publisher and may have more news about that soon. Also look for more news about my photography in the coming months.
